Limpias

This ritual can be performed daily for energetic and auric cleansing and can be one way to deepen your connection with Nature. Plants hold healing properties and as such can assist us in absorbing the accumulation of negative energy we carry in our energy bodies.

Limpias RitualGather herbs and plants from your garden or grocer. As you collect plants for this ritual maintain an attitude of gratitude and appreciation in your heart for these plants that have come to assist you in this process.

Use any herbs or plants that call to you in some way. These may be plants that you have an abundance of in your garden. Or perhaps you just love the smell of a certain herb like basil. Maybe you are drawn to certain herbs in cooking or you like the color of certain flowers. There is no right or wrong herbs, plants and flowers to use so let your intuition guide you.

One especially powerful plant ally is Rosemary. Rosemary has not changed its DNA structure during the course of its evolution making it extremely strong and powerful in its healing character.

Once you have your plant bundle, simply begin brushing yourself from head to toe. Take as much time as you like with this allowing the energy of the plants to absorb tension, stress and negativity from your energy body. Let yourself absorb the aroma of the plants and feel their gentle touch on your skin. You can also tap yourself gently with the plants, helping to stimulate energetic and lymphatic flow in your system.

During this process let your breath be full and deep. Perform this ritual holding the intent of what you are looking to release or cleanse from your life.

Once you feel the ritual is complete, discard the plant bundle as it now holds the energy you are looking to release so you do not want to hold on to it once the ritual is done.

Limpias can be performed daily if this practice calls to you. Or you can use limpias anytime you are looking to clear yourself of accumulated stress or tension. They can be a wonderful way to calm your nervous system prior to what might feel like a stressful situation for you such as a job interview or a first date!
